Merry Christmas

It’s nearly Christmas and this is my final blog post for the year which I dedicate to my daughter Emma who graduated from her Communications degree a few days ago.  It was a wonderful day starting with a parade down Swanston Street to Federation Square, followed by a welcome and congratulations by the City Of Melbourne.  There was great excitement as Graduates posed for photographs with their proud families on a sunny Melbourne day.

After the parade we walked through some of Melbourne’s beautiful arcades and laneways ending up in Bourke Street where we had a lovely celebratory lunch with my parents.  It was a great day.

It wasn’t over yet, at 7.30pm that night we had to be at Etihad Stadium, Docklands where the Graduates were presented with their degrees.  It was a long exciting day and one I’ll never forget.  We’re so happy for you Emma and excited about all the exciting times that lay ahead.

I would like to wish all my readers a very merry and safe Christmas and Happy, Happy New Year.  I truly appreciate the support of every single person who has visited my blog this year and left uplifting and encouraging comments, I could not grow without you and your visits and support mean the world to me.

Thank you also to all my facebook, twitter and instagram followers who inspire me daily.

Last but not least thank you to all my wonderful blogging friends, your friendships are very important to me and without your support my blog would not be where it is today.

Creatively, I need a break to be re-inspired for next year so I’m taking most of January off from blogging and social media.  It’s summer here in Australia and I will be going away on a couple of trips with my family to relax and think about what I’d like to present to you next year.  When I return I’m hoping it will be with my new blog design.  It looks great and I can’t wait to show it to you all.

In the meantime, love and blessings to everyone, remember it’s the simple things in life that bring the most joy.  See you late January.

Love Catherine x
